All about gaming

Gaming is one of my favorite things! You can game on computers, tablets and iphones. Gaming is so cool because you can play any game type you want if you want the real game sometimes you have to download it. My favorite game on my tablet is Pokemon Go. Pokemon go is fun because it gets you on a adventure.

About pokemon go

Pokemon go is a good game but dangerous at times too but Pokemon go gets you on an adventure in the woods,forest and around the people. From pokeystops you can get pokeballs, revive, potion,geatballs(level 12) and ulturballs(level 20),

Why to play pokemon go

Play pokemon go because you start with good things These are what you start with. 2 Incense, camera and egg incubator and the starter pokemon are Charmander,Bulbasaur,Squirtle and Pikachu. For example Carmader can be 12 cp so can Squirtle and Bulbasaur.

How to start pokemon go

To start pokemon go you download it and turn on location then start walking finding pokemon and catch them.  You can aslo level up and get pokystops and hatch eggs and get pokeballs and other balls when you level up.

How to battle a gym

To battle a gym you need to be level 5. when you reach level 5 you walk up to a gym and choose a team out of team voldor team mystic and team instinct. blue own’s the most gyms you can put a pokemon in someone's gym (if they are in your team) but if someone not in your team you can fight that person. if you win the gym will not be owned or it will stay with the team but you can fight your team gym and it makes the pokemon stronger if you lost and it gives you xp to level up

A keas size is 46cm. Kea are getting killed by cats,stoats,ferrets and possums Kea are a parrot and also known as a nz mountain parrot. Kea are playful.kea diet is quite varied.

Today we did btb ocshon I got this and his name is Fred and he comes with a sling shot Mr.M tried to get me and he missed me he likes to swing and he is funny.

Arthur's Pass Camp

Wednesday! School camp. Everyone was hanging out in the classroom waiting for the bus. I was feeling excited and couldn’t wait to get started. The bus arrived at school and we ran out into the rain. SPLASH SPLASH,  I stepped into all the puddles.

In the bus I sat in the back seat with Declyn, Jack H, Sonny and Kade. Derek said, “Now we know who the bad boys are!” We thought this is very funny. About an hour later we arrived at Arthur’s Pass Lodge.

There we met Logan who was our activity guide. He is tall with dark hair and wears a red jacket and black pants and has a bright orange backpack. He told us how to keep warm and the camp rules. Then Mr. M told us where we are sleeping. I’m in a room with Matt, Jack H, Declyn, Darren and Boyd which is great! The  bunks were three levels high and you had to climb a ladder to get to the top.

After we had something to eat we went orienteering.  Sahara, Bridget, Rhea, Sonny, Jack L, Mum, Darren,  Dayna and I got a map and clues and searched for words on white logs around Arthur’s Pass. So orienteering is where you use a map and clues to complete a challenge. It was a good way for us to learn our way around Arthur’s Pass. We came home last but we did well and it was a lot of fun.

Next we went for a long walk through the bush to Devil's Punch Bowl and at the end was a massive waterfall. The roar of the waterfall was so loud that it sounded like an earthquake. It was so tall that it looked like it came from the very top of the mountain. There were a lot of steps to climb to get up to the waterfall! At the bottom of the track we played fun games with Logan. The best game was seeing who could run and scream at the top of their voice for the longest. Boyd was the winner. Our group was on tea duty that night and later we played soccer in the dark with two footballs. FUN!

The next morning there was snow everywhere. YES! Mr. M let us play in it and we had a snow fight and a snowman competition. MORE FUN! After putting on warm clothes and having something to eat we went on a bush walk with Logan. Our van had chains on the wheels to stop it sliding in the snow. We had fun shaking the trees so that the snow fell onto Logan’s head and we also built snow castles. When we got back to the Lodge we built a giant snowman that was taller than all the parents and had another snow fight.

After tea we had camp concert. Declyn, Brock and I  told jokes. Sonny and Lochie were my favorite act because they were so funny. Sonny hit a tennis ball with a cricket bat straight into Lochie’s face (by mistake). I still laugh about it even as I write this! After the concert it was bedtime and we had free time for 40 minutes before we had to go to sleep.

Friday was our last day. We had fun games in the snow with Mr. M before we went for our last bush walk with Logan. When we came back from our walk there were a lot of tourists from another country taking photos of our giant snowman. We had our photo taken too.

Then it was lunch, and time to pack up our bags and get on to the bus to go home. Our camp was over. We had lots and lots of fun. My favorite part was the orienteering and playing in the snow.

“3 2 1 ready or not here I come.” It was Alice she was playing spotlight with Ruben, Clordia and I. I was hiding behind the mattress in a ball I was sweating like pouring water.  I see a light. “FOUND YOU RUBEN,” said Alice.  I feel cold. I know where Clordia was she was in my sisters room behind the door and as soon as I said cor car like an owl Alice found Clordia. “I WIN” I yelled at the top of my voice and released myself from the mattress. “I was looking for you” said Alice.

“WAKE UP!” it was Mum I hear lightning. It was 6 am I walk to the door Lika sprints up to me. My eyes are so foggy I can hardly see my porridge. “ Do you want to go to school early?” “ok yes please.” Lika was licking my arm. and I stood up on my feet and made Lika mad and she jumped on to my hands and I spin Lika around. “Sit down Mark.” once I finished my porridge Mum said“Time to go to school.” “Ok Mum.”

My first friends I sore was Declyn, Jack L and Brock then Declyn, jack and I went to shoot hoops with me.

Unwanted visitors

I’m wide wake my heart is pounding like I have just watched a horror film I don't know who it is but there is a knocking sound on the door. I’m not sure if this is a dream but I think I’m awake. Why would someone knock on my door at the middle of the night? BANG BANG BANG the door is opening and in comes a guy with green eyes that glow in the dark. and he is also holding a knife like he was a murder “you can no hide from Zass” says the murder. “I know you are under your blankets”.

Today we did an  with our BTB auction I had 22. This is my rubber.

We line up to get some things like books, rubbers and movies. I was so happy when I got these rubbers. People got lots of things I was happy I got something. Not like others. We yell out 1,2,3 or how many BTB points you have.

At 6000 an hour(very fast). they ride to space in a rocket. vones is very hot. asternortes drink sweat. it will take 9 min to send a message get back to earth.there are sandstorms in mars. They can't breathe on mars. there are problems when they land. There's no gravity. They need special suites. Conchurs were planning to go to mars in 2020.

how to make bread

How to make easy bread

This is an easy bread to make just need some ingredients and once you taste it you will want more!

Step 1. Put 2 teaspoons of yeast in a bowl.

Step 2. Pour 2 cups of warm water in the bowl.

Step 3. Give the yeast and warm water a quick stir and then level it.

Step 4. Put salt in the bowl.

Step 5. Put 2 cups of flour in a the bowl.

Step 6. Stir the flour.

Step 7. Put 4-5 cups of flour then stir gently.

Step 8. Then put cup of flour in the bowl.

Step 9. Then use your hands to stir it.

Step 10. Then push it down.

Step 11. put one side in half it would look a bit skinny.

Step 12. put a little bit of oil and dough and leave it for an hour and cover it with a cloth.

Step 13. Stir the oil and but the dough into a bot and push it down it should fill the pot. 

Step 14. Cook the dough for an hour and a half it should sound hollow.  

Step 15. Then leave it for 15 mins.

Mark Mini Ball

Mini ball Last year I played mini ball on Thursdays after school. Mini ball is fun to play and is like basketball. You play miniball in the winter at the Civic Centre in Greymouth. There are 5 players plus reserves. Karen was our coach and she subbed us. Summer is much better because it is hotter and you push yourself harder. Dribble, dribble, dribble! Declyn and I are dribbling up the court to get a goal. Swish! In goes the ball. Declyn and I are running back with our arms in the air. We are ready for the other team to run. Jump! Matthew leaps into the air and gets the ball. Now he is running to get goal. “Good work”, I say to Matthew. YES! We’re 2 nil up. But the other team comes back hard. Oh no! Suddenly it is 5 all! The crowd is going wild whistling and shouting out “YES YES YES”. Our team is getting really tired but I push myself hard to be the fastest person in the world. Suddenly the other team is running straight at me! I am the only kid who can stop her. I steal the ball. I run straight up to the goal. I know the girls will take the ball off me. So I pass the ball to Matt and he shoots for the goal. He misses the goal but it bounces straight into my hands. So I shoot… GOAL! I run back to halfway and high five my team. My first goal! I have never been so excited in my life. 2 minutes later… Ding ding, it's the end of the game. 7-5 -- we win! We high five each other and say “Good game”to the other team and shake hands. All our parents cheer as we walk proudly off the court. The end. By mark
